A Minute to Make Your Day

We asked hundreds of students what gives them hope. Their answers will make you smile. These hopeful words were in response to our visits to more than 20 Bay Area schools this past winter, at which 7,512 students in grades 6 – 12 and their teachers had a chance to hear performances of the Violins of Hope, learn the history of the Holocaust, and share how stories of heroism and resilience might relate to their own lives today. The younger generation is truly our hope for the future!

Violins of Hope San Francisco Bay Area education programs were presented by Music at Kohl Mansion in collaboration with Jewish Family and Children’s Services Holocaust Center, with generous support from the Koret, Bella, and Mervyn Brenner Foundations.
